There are some 400 Friends of Rye Art Gallery, organised in a separately listed charity. It is constituted to raise money for the gallery through fund-raising activities and events. Details can be found on the Charities Commission website.

Friends support the Gallery by providing a programme of art related activities and events, such as talks, visits/outings and workshops. The Stormont Volunteer group within the Friends provide volunteers to supervise gallery exhibitions.

By joining the Friends you will receive:-
• the opportunity to join with others in a variety of art related activities
• invitations to private views of all exhibitions
• Friends of Rye Art Gallery newsletter with advance details of events
• priority bookings
• a reduction of the entrance charge to the talks

APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP

INDIVIDUAL: £15 per annum; JOINT FRIENDS*: £25 per annum
PATRON: £40 min per annum; JOINT PATRONS*: £70 min per annum
LIFE MEMBER: £250 JOINT LIFE MEMBERS*: £450

*for two individuals at the same address

Life Members enjoy unlimited entry to talks. Patrons and Life Members will receive:-
• acknowledgements in literature produced for events, such as the AGM
• acknowledgment on the Life Member and Patron scroll displayed in
the Stormont Studio
